Dethalbum Iii is the third full-length anthology past virtual death metal ring Dethklok, from the Adult Swim animated series Metalocalypse. The CD and deluxe CD/DVD were released on Oct 16, 2012.[three] It contains music from the second, third and fourth seasons of the show. Similar The Dethalbum and Dethalbum II before information technology, the music is performed by the show's creator Brendon Small and drummer Gene Hoglan. Additionally, the band'south live bassist, Bryan Beller, performs on the anthology.
Release [edit]
The single "I Ejaculate Burn down" was released on September 4, 2012.[4] The song "Vanquish the Industry" premiered on Full Metal Jackie on September 14, 2012.[5] The song "Andromeda" premiered on Liquid Metallic on September 24, 2012.[vi] The song "The Milky way", forth with its music video, premiered on Hot Topic's YouTube channel on October 3, 2012.[seven] The album was also released on vinyl on November half-dozen, 2012.[eight]
A guitar transcription volume for this anthology was released in April 2013 through Alfred Music Publishing.[9]

The anthology peaked at number 10 on the Billboard 200 chart, selling over 20,000 copies in its outset calendar week of release.[17] This overtook Dethalbum 2 as the highest charting death metal album.[18]
